If I stand out in the fields, I might just be able to wave you on your way. You know what leaving does to me, don’t you?
I’ve seen distance through the eyes of a friend. It is full of anticipation, hope and new beginnings. The kind that makes you go skipping and giggling like a schoolgirl. The world is big and brimming with possibilities. Distance, through the eyes of a lover, is a longing which through time resigns into acceptance.
So what is this distance which turns people into strangers? That strange echo in the voice. Those strange words, strange feelings. Almost as if you are a foreigner with your foreign tongue of the foreign lands.
I cannot comprehend.
