A congregation of lost souls, broken souls. Brought together by a mere stroke of fate. In the darkness and blinding strobes, heart soared, only to be flung onto solid ground when the darkness dissipated and the beats died.
And in that sudden bright light, all too clear were the desolate mess and chaotic havoc of minds that have fought too long and hearts that have stayed too strong. At this desperate hour, I had wanted to cling on to the very essence of the world before the darkness, but it faded away like the colors on a polaroid long after the smiles on the faces of the people had gone.
An eternity had gone by before I found myself waking up from a nightmare that I could not undream.
